My father was a foreign correspondent and I was raised in Asia: China, India, and Hong Kong. I have always had a passion for those unique cultures and the people who live there. I recently retired after a 30-year U.S. Government career where I worked as a writer and editor. I have had numerous articles published in government newsletters and magazines. I have also had travel articles published in magazines and newspapers, including The Providence Journal and AAA South magazine. Prior to my government career, I was a writer for a small English language magazine in Hong Kong and travelled throughout Asia writing articles that were published. I am working on my first novel, Death in Darjeeling,which is now completed and I hope to get it published by the end of 2014.
