With 20 years experience and two successful acquisitions, Robert focuses on strategy and marketing. As Director of WordPress, Cloudways, he was instrumental in the $350 million acquisition of Cloudways by DigitalOcean. Additionally, he is an international, and respected speaker and has served and serves in multiple industry and open source roles, including: President, Open Source Matters; Make WordPress Hosting; ICANN; and Internet Infrastructure Coalition. Additionally, Robert is an international, well known, and respected speaker and contributor to open source, hosting, and infrastructure communities. He has served in multiple roles with Joomla, including President of Open Source Matters, member of Make WordPress Hosting, contributor to ICANN At-Large, and former Chair for the Technical Outreach Working Group of the Internet Infrastructure Coalition.
